Nice Surprise!

Sadly, I haven't been able to find and post as many samples and deals lately because I started working days. It seems like most companies like to do their giveaways during the daytime hours and you have to get to the stores fairly early during their markdown days to get the best deals. I will have to work on a balance between finding deals and working :) I did want to share with you a sweeps win that I came home to today! I had a fed ex package waiting for me that contained a $100 Spa Gift Card! I am so excited! I can't wait to use it. I was planning on using it all for myself, but my daughter seems to have other plans that involve taking her! If you are not entering sweeps you should, it really pays off!

Free Beauty Bag with Samples

Sign-up for a free beauty bag with samples from Target's Sample Spot. They did this a few months ago and it came with a really nice make-up bag filled with samples and coupons. To sign-up go to Target and click on free sample. Be patient, this form is running slow, but it wil be worth it when you recieve sme great freebies! Mine froze at the end, but when I went back in it said I already requested on so apparently it still goes through if it freezes on the confirmation sceen. Enjoy!

Free Vaseline Lotion

If you still have the $1.50 off Vaseline products coupon from the 7/30 newspaper inserts, you can score some free lotion. Target on Edgewood Road has the Vaseline Intensive Rescue Clinical Therapy lotion on clearance for $1.37. They still had several boxes left when I stopped in today. What's better than free? Actually, a money maker is better than free :) They took the full $1.50 off my bill so I got paid $.13 each for my lotions. Enjoy!

Share Expired Coupons!

Has everyone gotten their expired coupons cleaned out for the month? This is not my favorite thing to do. It's sad to see the huge pile of coupons going to waste. I am excited to share with you an opportunity for you to give back. My cousin lives at a Military Base in Japan and has told me that they can use expired coupons for up to 6 months after the expiration date. What a great way to allow someone else to enjoy the benefits of couponing instead of just throwing them away! If you are interested in sending them to the Base let me know. Have you ever saw a new product in the grocery store that you thought you might like but didn't want to risk your money to find out? Check out the Kraft Foods First Taste website. They have new products added there regularly and offer their readers coupons for the items usually anywhere from $1 off to free! I recently got a coupon in my account for $1 off Stackermallows. Using the coupon at Hy-Vee that made my bag $.19. Not bad! We tried them on top of brownies as there was a recipe for this on the back of the bag. Honestly, I don't think I would buy them again, they were really chewy on top and the kids didn't really like them. I'm glad we were able to try them out for cheap!
